Social Science Research Center Berlin - We couldn't go inside but this screen outside was really cool and you could see the history of the building and the architect and then had information about the research they do.
Cool art work
Interesting architecture, the windows were curved with the building
Colored piping that either transports thermal energy to heat houses, or for water drainage?? Not really sure but they are kind of cool and different colors in different areas.
Permanent exhibition of German resistance against National Socialism
Sweet staircase inside the resistance building (we didn't look around inside, just saw the courtyard outdoors with the statue and they had a timeline of photos outside telling the story)
While wandering down the street we found a map of the museums in the area. They have very functional way-finding systems in Berlin (especially with the public transportation, it is very easy to find places and follow signage... and things like this map showing where different museums are around the area! Very helpful
Also all of the address numbers on every building are labeled clearly and all uniform which makes it easy to locate places.
Making our way to the museums!
Music Hall
And found the design museum........... that is permanently closed until 2014!!!! BUMMER!
Walking around on the slanted rooftops to get from one museum to the other!
The sky looked REALLY scary and cool when we came out of the museum
Pretty church
