Zugspitze

No big deal....... we went up to highest peak in Germany!!!!!!!!!  Our class had to take a trip to Ingolstadt, Germany (Southern Germany) to do a presentation on a Monday.  So most of us went to Southern Germany over the weekend for a fun trip.  We went to Bavaria and stayed in a little town called Garmisch!  We stayed in a hostel and spent the day going up to the top of the mountain and then hiking about 8 miles home!!!!!  This trip was really fun and we saw a side of Germany we have never seen! We have only been in the city and it was great getting out and smelling fresh air and seeing the amazing mountains!

Our hike back! We decided to get off of our little cog wheel train when we got close to the bottom of the mountains.... This hike was said to be a lot shorter than it really was!  We ended up walking for about 5 hours ( roughly 8 miles :O )
